As a 40+ year old woman myself who has been through some pretty stressful life events, like breast cancer at 44, I felt there was a need to help women understand the importance of nutrition and fitness as we age. When we are young, we take for granted that we won't become ill or overweight because after all, we are busy and out partying, and then getting married, having a family, and looking after you is at the back of the queue. It's not until we get into our late 30s and early 40s we start to notice little changes with our bodies, like gaining weight and finding it hard to lose it. We are not going to be like we were at 20 so I want to help women accept this.
