Plant hire, demolition and excavation across the South West and South Wales
Our location in the Mendips puts us in the perfect position to serve Bath, Bristol and the South West, South Wales, the Midlands, and the south coast as far as Portsmouth. We have great links to the M4 and M5.

As well as our plant hire site, we also run waste management and recycling centres near Bristol and Bath, and can access waste sites in other areas if those are more convenient for you.

A fantastic team of drivers and operators

We employ a large team of operators, drivers, and site operatives, many of whom have worked with us for years. We have over 20 staff who have been with us for over forty years, and one team member who is celebrating his 50th anniversary with RM Penny! It’s not unusual for our customers to ask for an individual operator by name when placing their orders!

All the team are fully trained and hold current CITB and CSCS cards, and PTS certificates; as well as asbestos, first aid, PASMA, IPAF, CPC training and qualifications.
