Homestead Care is a new organisation, based in Gillingham and Shaftesbury, and developed to ensure the best standard of care and support to individuals within our community.
Our Directors, Justin and Faye have over 20 years experience between them, and have worked with a variety of individuals of all ages, and in a variety of roles.
One of our main aims is to ensure that both clients and employees alike are valued at all times. We aim to achieve this by providing a comprehensive package training and support to our care workers, which in turn enables the provision of high quality care and support to our clients.
The initial training that we provide to our care workers consists of a minimum of 5 days classroom based training, followed by support within the community, known as Shadowing. This training continues throughout the care workers employment, with the provision of mandatory training on a yearly basis, and optional training as requested or required.
With regards to the care and support provided to clients, we will ensure that the needs of each individual are met at all times, with the provision of a key worker, an individual assigned to act as a first point of contact, and as support in where organisational requirements such as assessments and reviews are undertaken.
We further aim to support the care and support provision of individuals by working in partnership with all associated organisations and family members, where permission is given. This helps to ensure continuity of care at all times.
