The College of foot Health Practitioners teaches the skills required for confident private practice.
The training is Podiatrist-led and equivalent to NVQ level 4, the level appropriate to practitioners who diagnose and treat independently.
Training at this College enables direct listing on application to the Accredited Register of Foot Health Practitioners - the only register for this occupation approved by the Professional Standards Authority under the Health & Social Care Act, 2012.
Founded in 1996, this 21st Century College teaches up-to-date technique in a modern learning environment. There is no better way to learn.
You will treat a good number of real people with real problems under the direction of tutors who practice in their own right. You will learn what needs to be done from those who do it daily.
Our students come from all walks of life. Some might have a background in health care - such as nurses seeking to gain greater control over their lives and free themselves from demanding and disruptive duty rotas.
A medical background is not necessary. The course is designed to be accessible to anyone with average literacy who is prepared to put in some effort to achieve something worthwhile.
The College has taught students from all parts of the world. Our diplomates build, run and enjoy successful practices.
