Food at the Indian Star is prepared by three times award winning Master Chef M. A. Bari Joshim: Winner of the National British Bangladeshi Curry Awards(B. B.C) 1999, 2000 & 2006, a competition held every year at the House of Commons. Raised money for many charities which includes Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital and the Essex Air Ambulance. Cooked the worlds biggest biryani serving 25000 people breaking the previous record. Appeared on Channel 4's Big Breakfast morning show, cooking food live on air. Cooked for the former Prime Minister John Major’s 50th birthday party and many celebrity guests.
