Netherhall House is an intercollegiate hall of residence for male university students, in North Central London, with easy access to many colleges and institutions of higher education in London. We provide the right environment and our residents consistently achieve above the average marks. First-year students can avail themselves of the experience and guidance of older students and graduates. We rely upon the responsibility and respect for personal freedom of each resident. Applicants are offered a place on the understanding that he will, by his positive outlook seek to maintain the high standards and family tone which has made Netherhall House a success since 1952.
We offer our residents a full college experience, in a serious study environement that helps student to promote their personal and academic development. Netherhall House has large range of facilities: it has its own library, computer and laptop rooms, newspaper reading room, its own outdoor sports pitch used mainly for 5-a-side football and basketball, music practice rooms, a coffee lounge, an auditorium and a TV lounge. Netherhall provides a unique social, sport and cultural life for all its student residents. From a yearly play performed in the House's own auditorium, to free classical music concerts for students each term. Also during term time, there is a weekly guest speaker series featuring various individuals, all highly distinguished within their fields. There are daily get-togethers and weekly debates. We oganise regular sport acitvities during the year, from wall-climbing to 5-side footlball, basketball, criket, table tenis etc. There are also opporunties to engage and contribute in social projects and voluntary work. The residence is open until midnight on weekdays and iuntil 2am on weekends.
