About Us

Ivan's is a fully insured, reliable, trustworthy dog walkers service in Witney. It is tailored to the individual needs of your pet. The focus is on providing great care, individual attention and safety (and fun and cuddles of course...). Free consultation for regular walks. The service is named after Ivan, a Yorkshire terrier x poodle with a big personality who went on to become a much loved assistance dog.

Dog walking in Witney and surrounding villages - dogs are walked away from busy roads. I have a long lead to give dogs more freedom. Dogs are walked in small group dog walks or one to one depending on your preference. Pet Taxi service - a crate and / or car harness is used to ensure safety when travelling. Pet Care visits - to enable your pet to remain in their own environment and to minimize stress by maintaining their normal routine. Let me know your requirements and I'll try and meet them.

Establishment: I am passionate about dogs and other animals and have a wealth of experience as both a pet owner and from working with a range of animal welfare and assistance charities. I worked for the National Animal Welfare Trust for circa four years, providing care, grooming, and training. This gave me a really good understanding of the special needs of elderly animals. For the last eight years I have volunteered for a fantastic charity called Medical Detection Dogs, helping to socialize and train puppies and using scent games to prepare them for their advanced training. I have an NVQ 3 in care, a masters degree in social sciences and am currently studying for an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management.
